Key areas where used

Method of use

Used to isolate areas of the patient during TUR procedures (transurethral resection) and TURBT (transurethral resection of the bladder tumour) procedures. The aperture is used during palpation of the vagina or penis or insertion of a catheter. The finger cot is surrounded by an adhesive area which is placed below the penile or vaginal opening during rectal palpation. In addition to the drape, an integral plastic irrigation pouch is provided. (See Irrigation Pouch datacard for further details). This can be secured by the adhesive strip to the patient drape. The pouch collects and separates bodily fluids and tissue via an integral filter. An optional drainage port at the bottom edge allows draining.

Individually wrapped and folded for optimal draping.
