Urine bag for continuous irrigation

Transparent plastic bag (can contain up to 3 L of liquid). Top of plastic edging possesses holes and a flexible plastic tube protrudes from the top of the bag (with a connector at the end). In some cases, the tubing possesses a coloured balloon. The distal part of the bag possesses a connector and lever-tap.

Method of use
The bag is used to collect fluid during continuous irrigation in order to prevent the clotting of blood after urological surgery. The bag is attached to the patient's 3-way irrigation catheter and collects the fluid following irrigation. The tubing of some bags contains a coloured ball/balloon-shaped squeezing mechanism to disperse blood clots.
